ENQUIRYLifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) place duties of care on people and companies who own, operate or have control over lifting equipment. Lifting equipment is also work equipment so the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) will also apply, which includes inspection and maintenance.
In line with these Regulations, Compass Winches can provide an audit and inspection service where your lifting equipment will be registered and a schedule for thorough examination will be determined which is related to the application or duty of your equipment. Your lifting equipment register, records all thorough reports of examinations, defects and corrective works will stored on our secure online server for ease of access.
Planned maintenance for your new or existing lifting equipment can be provided independently or alongside our inspection service. This will reduce the probability of costly equipment downtime by identifying potential failures in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Again, the maintenance report detailing activity, parts used and recommendations will be stored on our secure online service.
